On the afternoon of July 12, the "Forum on Fostering Digital Literacy and Skills for Vulnerable Groups" hosted by the Beijing International Exchange Association, was successfully held online. The event invited nine globally influential experts from science and technology organizations, science communication agencies, universities and the private sector to conduct in-depth discussions and thematic research on digital literacy and skills enhancement for the vulnerable groups.
This thematic forum, attended by representatives of two international organizations: International Telecommunication Union(ITU)and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO), as well as a total of seven foreign guests from the United Kingdom, Viet Nam, Brazil and Samoa, and two Chinese experts, aimed to gather insights on enhancing the dissemination and accessibility of scientific knowledge, particularly for vulnerable groups worldwide.
