On September 29, 2022, led by the Business Innovation Center of Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency and jointly supported by Beijing International Exchange Association and Vietnam InnoLab Asia, the Lancang-Mekong Youth Entrepreneur Accelerator Camp, was officially launched online. At the ceremony, Dr. Pasupha Chinvarasopark, Minister Counselor for Science and Technology of the Royal Thailand Embassy in China, Dr. Adisorn Tuantranont, Vice President, Technology Management Center of the National Agency for Science and Technology Development of Thailand, and Dr. Jieni Guo, Secretary General of Beijing International Exchange Association, attended and delivered speeches. Experts from China, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam gathered online to share their experience in innovation ecology and entrepreneurship, to help young people in Lancang-Mekong countries overcome obstacles on the road to entrepreneurship.

At the launch ceremony, Sansanee Huabsomboon, Director of the Business Innovation Center of the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand, and Liange An, Vice Chairwomen of Beijing International Exchange Association, signed a memorandum of cooperation on behalf of both sides.

The project plans to hold 3 series of themed activities in the next two years, namely, the Lancang-Mekong Youth Entrepreneurship Acceleration Camp, the Lancang-Mekong Young Technopreneur Forum and the Lancang-Mekong Young Leaders China Tour, to point out the direction for the young people to pursue entrepreneurship and light the road ahead for cooperation.
