On May 8, 2023, Members of the International Council of the Female Sci-tech Capacity Building Center gathered online to assess progress and exchange valuable insights since the inception of the center.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Jieni Guo, Secretary General of Beijing International Exchange Association, who first introduced the 2023 AAAS scientific session “Female Sci-Tech Talents Capacity Building on Entrepreneurship held on the morning of March 3 at Washington Convention Center. Following the session introduction, the council members shared their thoughts on the work plan for the remainder of 2023 and proposed various initiatives to bolster female representation and empowerment in the fields of science and technology.
