From 1 to 3 April 2025, BIEA hosted the inaugural "Capacity-Building Training Program on Applying for United Nations Consultative Status," which provided systematic guidance on review criteria, application procedures, and key interview requirements. Through case studies and mock interviews, the program strengthened participants' international engagement capabilities and enhanced their professional competence.

On 24 June 2025, Dr. Guo Jieni, Secretary-General of BIEA, delivered a thematic lecture in Shanghai. She shared the institutional framework, application strategies, and practical experience related to the UN Special Consultative Status, thereby strengthening the capacity of Shanghai-based social organizations to participate in international affairs.
