On the afternoon of February 4, 2025, BIEA co-organized with UN DESA a side event titled "Advancing Women's Capacity to Shape the Robust Partnership Networks for Achieving the 2030 Agenda at the Crossroads of Technological Empowerment" during the UN Partnership Forum in New York.

As the only in-person side event led by a Chinese organization and included in the Forum's official agenda, it focused on women's development, partnership building and digital technologies, contributing practical experience toward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Experts and scholars from China, Brazil and India participated in the keynote session. Dr. Guo Jieni, Secretary-General of the Beijing International Exchange Association, introduced the BIEA's practices in promoting partnerships with multi-stakeholders among international organization, academia, civil society and grassroot.

The event reflected the Beijing International Exchange Association's engagement in global governancerelated discussions and its efforts to facilitate dialogue on women's empowerment and partnership-building.

Looking ahead, the BIEA will continue to strengthen international cooperation and people-to-people exchanges in support of inclusive and sustainable development.
