On the morning of June 6, 2023, the 2023 Haidian–Lansing Education Forum was successfully held for the third consecutive year in a hybrid online and offline format at the Zhongguancun Internet Education Innovation Center. The forum was hosted by the People’s Government of Haidian District, with co-organizers including the Beijing International Exchange Association and the Haidian District Returned Overseas Chinese Federation. The BRICS Platform for Enhancing Scientific Capacity and Innovation Cooperation actively participated in the event.

The forum aimed to further deepen the friendly cooperative relationship between Haidian District and Lansing, Michigan, USA, and to explore the latest trends in China–U.S. integration of education and technology in the digital age. Education representatives from both countries shared experiences and exchanged views on key topics such as digital literacy for youth, digital transformation in education, and technology-driven learning innovation, jointly envisioning future avenues for cooperation.

The platform’s participation underscored its important role in supporting global digital literacy advancement and promoting educational and technological collaboration. It also provided valuable experience for future education and technology cooperation between China, the United States, and other BRICS+ countries.
