From May 9 to 10, 2024, during the 9th Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (STI Forum) held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Beijing International Exchange Association, as an NGO with Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC, co-hosted an online side event with the UNDP Tajikistan Office.

Titled “Deepening the 2030 Agenda: Strategies and Cases for Advancing Emerging Technologies among Vulnerable Groups”, the side event took place online from May 9 to 10.

The BRICS Platform for Enhancing Scientific Capacity and Innovation Cooperation participated in the event, which focused on topics such as AI-assisted education, the application of green technologies, and inclusive digital services.

A representative from the BRICS Platform shared insights into its ongoing efforts and collaborative experiences in capacity building and technological demonstration.
