From February 13 to 15, 2025, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) held its Annual Meeting in Boston under the theme “Science Shaping Tomorrow.” The conference highlighted global cooperation in science, policy, and communication, and explored the integration of technology and public discourse.

For the third year in a row, the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA) hosted a thematic forum at the AAAS Annual Meeting, contributing forward-looking topics and perspectives. In previous years, BIEA’s forums focused on “Building Entrepreneurial Capacity for Women in Science and Technology” and “Empowering the Scientific Rights of Marginalized Groups,” drawing attention from scientists, policymakers, and leaders worldwide. The initiative continues to strengthen BIEA’s international presence and promote China-U.S. exchange in science and culture.
