In response to the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly designated 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, the Beijing International Exchange Association, together with several partners, successfully submitted the "Eurasian International Forum on Quantum Science Cooperation and Science Popularization" to UNESCO, which was officially approved recently. The forum, which will be held in Beijing in September 2025, aims to promote international cooperation and science popularization in the field of quantum science in the Eurasian region and promote the sustainable development of quantum technology.

The forum will bring together experts, scholars, policy makers, representatives of the industry and other stakeholders in the field of quantum science from China, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Thailand and other countries to discuss the future development path of quantum science and technology. The two-day forum will hold in-depth discussions on policy dialogue, ethical issues, security governance and other topics of quantum science and technology, aiming to establish a policy dialogue mechanism for Eurasian quantum science and technology cooperation, promote interdisciplinary and cross-regional cooperation, and narrow the gap between the north and the south. At the same time, this activity will be held in the same period of Beijing Science and Technology Week, and will deeply discuss the popularization and promotion of quantum knowledge in the form of "talking about quantum", so as to enhance the public's cognition and interest in quantum science.
