On May 30, 1989, the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA) was officially established in Beijing, China. Over the past 35 years, BIEA has actively participated in major international exchange activities both domestically and internationally, strengthening cooperation with global institutions such as the United Nations, APEC, BRICS, the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand (NSTDA), as well as domestic and international organizations, universities, and enterprises. These efforts have created broader platforms for exchange and cooperation across various sectors worldwide. After 35 years of development, BIEA has expanded its international cooperation resources in more than 30 key countries and regions covering six continents. It has continuously strengthened and improved its own development actively engaged in global governance of NGOs, and established a significant influence, with a focus on disseminating the Chinese voice. Dr. Jieni Guo, Secretary General of BIEA, stated that looking ahead, BIEA will continue to embrace the world with an open attitude, carry out influential international exchange activities, play a more proactive role in international affairs, and make positive contributions to building a more harmonious, stable, and prosperous world.
