Recently, reported by APEC Secretariat, the APEC Technology Empowers Low Carbon Action (TELCA) (Project No. PPSTI 06 2023A) Best Case report hosted by Beijing International Exchange Association and written by Hong Kong Joint Communication was officially published on the APEC official website.

The report collected 20 outstanding case studies from nine APEC member economies, including contributions from China, the United States, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan and others. These cases highlight the innovative technologies driving the transition to low-carbon solutions.

The core of this report is to highlight the vision of "just transformation" - striving to achieve a low-carbon future while addressing key issues such as poverty reduction, decent work, and social inclusion. Therefore, through extensive research and discussion, we have condensed the ten principles of APEC technology empowerment for low-carbon action. These principles emphasize cooperation, innovation, and inclusiveness, ensuring that all communities, especially vulnerable and underrepresented groups, can benefit from the low-carbon transition.
